Certificate Programs provide opportunities for students to prepare themselves for a wide variety of careers.

Some certificate program feed into AS or AA programs; consult with a counselor if you are interested in completing your General Education Requirements and working towards a degree. Other certificates will not fulfill major requirements for an AS or AA; these are marked with ND (non-degree).

The following are required to earn a certificate:

  1. Complete the requisite units outlined in the major requirements with a grade of C or better. A “P” (Pass) grade is also an acceptable grade for courses in the major or area of emphasis.
  2. Complete at least 6 units of the major requirements at GCC.

 

*Students pursuing certificate programs of less than 16 units are not eligible for financial aid.
