GCC CARES office at the Civic Auditorium location is permanently closed. GCC CARES services are now available at Verdugo Campus (Sierra Madre 148) and Garfield Campus (Somerset 100 & 104). To view all current hours and locations of operation, please scroll down this page. Please note our Market services at Garfield and Verdugo will be closed on October 2nd and October 7th for our LA Regional Food Bank Distribution. Please come get FREE groceries at LA Regional Food Bank Distribution: Oct. 2nd from 1-3pm at Garfield Campus (in parking lot)  and Oct. 7th from 1-3pm at Verdugo Campus (infront of Tongva).

About Us

The GCC Center for Assistance, Resources, and Educational Success (GCC CARES) supports students by addressing their basic needs.

We provide direct assistance and connect students to vital on- and off-campus resources related to food, transportation, housing, and financial support.

Our programs are designed to reduce barriers, promote well-being, and help students achieve their academic and personal goals at GCC.
