Grace Yang

Prof. Grace Yang was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, Republic of China. She earned her B. A. degree with top honors at Catholic Fu-Jen University, Taipei, Taiwan. R.O.C. Prof. Yang holds a Master Degree in Chinese linguistics from St. John's University, New York.

She is currently professor of Chinese and Director of the Chinese Program at the Los Angeles City College, where she teaches Chinese language, literature and culture.

Prof. Yang is a very warming, caring, encouraging, inspirational and resourceful professor. Her knowledge, teaching techniques, dedication, passion for teaching Chinese language and culture are truly amazing.

Besides Glendale Community College and Los Angeles City College, she also teaches at the College of the Canyons and Long Beach City College.

Her hobbies include reading, writing, cooking, traveling and singing Beijing opera.
