Bienvendos/Welcome!! I'm Dr. Brianna Ramirez (she/her/ella) and I'm excited to be serving as a Full-Time Faculty member in Ethnic Studies at GCC. I completed a Ph.D. in Education Studies with a specialization in Critical Gender Studies from UC San Diego. I grew up in Long Beach, CA and I am the proud eldest daughter of Mexican immigrants with family roots in Guanajuato and Jalisco. My teaching and scholarly work centers on racial and intersectional justice in higher education. I love spending time with family and my with my dog named, Fideo. I'm excited to be able to support you in your educational journey.
