Catherine Card, soprano, is a versatile and expressive artist whose performances encompass opera, art song, orchestral concerts, and choral music. A native of Jacksonville, Florida, she has performed as a soloist with orchestras and ensembles across the country and has also sung with the acclaimed women’s choral ensemble VOX Femina Los Angeles.

Ms. Card holds a Master of Music in Voice Performance from Bowling Green State University and a Bachelor of Music in Voice and Opera, magna cum laude, from Jacksonville University. She earned an Associate of Arts in Music from Florida School of the Arts and pursued doctoral studies in Voice Performance at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Throughout her career, Ms. Card has appeared in recital and as a concert soloist with a variety of ensembles, including the Culver City Chamber Orchestra, Glendale Community College Orchestra, University of California, Riverside Orchestra, San Bernardino Symphony, Toledo Symphony, and Jacksonville Symphony. Her repertoire reflects her love of the expressive lyricism and dramatic intensity of the soprano repertoire, along with a particular interest in the works of American composers.

Alongside her performing career, Ms. Card has maintained a longstanding commitment to music education. She previously served as Lecturer in Voice at the University of California, Riverside, where she taught private and group voice, and currently serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Music and Instructional Support Specialist at Glendale Community College. There, she teaches Music Fundamentals and supervises the Music Lab, supporting students as they build their musicianship, confidence, and artistic potential.
