Luiza Mikayelyan

My name is Luiza and I am a Counselor for General Counseling & the Promise Plus program. As a former community college student and first-gen college graduate, I understand the ups and downs of the educational journey and I’m here to support you through it. Programs like EOPS and other resources made a big difference for me, and now I’m passionate about paying it forward.

I’m fluent in Armenian and conversational in Spanish (thanks, telenovelas! :D). I love working with students from all backgrounds and walks of life. Outside of work, I enjoy cruises, trying new restaurants, and some good retail therapy.

Remember: You’re not alone. Ask for help, give yourself grace, don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s, and don’t forget to take care of you along the way.
