Emily Menjivar

Hello there, welcome! My name is Emily Menjivar and I am one of the Student Equity counselors. I identify as a first generation Latina student and received my B.A. in Sociology and Gender Studies from UCLA and my M. Ed in Educational Counseling from USC. My commitment is to provide you all with a brave space to open up and express yourself, co-create a nurturing environment, and help guide you towards your goals! On my free time, I really enjoy caring for my plants, exploring new coffee shops, and anything to do with interior design. I also enjoy all things nature whether thats hiking, going to the beach, or catching a sunset. But most importantly, I am really passionate about serving students and seeing them achieve their goals.
