Biography:

My name is Avo Masihi Yousefian. I was a GCC student myself and now I am teaching at Glendale Community College as an adjunct Accounting Instructor while teaching in another college as a full-time Accounting, Tax, and similar related courses. I received a Computerized Accounting Certification in 1999 and worked as a Real Estate professional since then. I earned my AS degree in Business from GCC, BS degree in Business option Accounting, and Master of Science in Accountancy from CSULA. Later, I earned an MBA from the University of the People and earned my CPA license after graduating from CSULA. I am also the CEO and CFO of a small business since 2004. GCC is my home and I decided to come back and teach at GCC when I took my first class there. I am proud to be an instructor at GCC and changing my students' lives and sharing my success story with them is my ultimate goal. As I always said, the world will only respond to our achievements, not our wishes. So, let's achieve our wishes.
