I consider myself very blessed for having the honor of teaching ESL to adult students from different cultural backgrounds and being present in their journey of learning, in the past 15 years!

I received my BA in German Translation, and my MA in TESOL. I joined GCC 10 years ago, and have been teaching different ESL levels, conversation, and Citizenship classes. Before that, I taught English at Pierce College and was the ESL and Citizenship program coordinator and developer at International Rescue Committee. Because of my experience of teaching international students, as well as my own journey of learning 5 languages, I make sure to stay culturally aware and use different techniques and styles of teaching that can be the right fit for every student.

In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano and keyboard, doing photography, video editing and spending quality time with my friends and family.
