María Hernández holds a Bachelor’s degree from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and a Master of Arts degree in Spanish from California State University, Northridge. She began teaching in Community Colleges in 2014 in different Community Colleges in Southern California before she came to Glendale Community College.

If you take a course with Prof. Hernández, expect to be encouraged to participate in class, enjoy the language and work with many oral activities. In the class, you will learn the language with a variety of activities and Prof. Hernández is always looking for different activities that refresh the learning process of the language. Expect an accessible and caring professor that will walk with you through this journey.
