Reminders:

  • No reservations needed to attend a workshop
  • Enter the Zoom Waiting Room at least 5 minutes early. If you are unable to join in the first 10 minutes, we recommend attending the next scheduled workshop.
  • General questions will be answered at the end of every Information Session. Individual questions such as equivalency of courses you specifically took, personal situations, etc. can be answered best in an individual appointment with one of the nursing counselors.

The General Information workshop covers prerequisites and admission criteria for GCC Nursing. Also discussed will be information surrounding costs, clinical sites, and daily schedules once a student is accepted into nursing school.

To schedule an appointment with the Nursing Counselor, please complete the following steps:

  1. Attend a Nursing Workshop via Zoom or by viewing the presentation online.
  2. Obtain a Glendale Community College student ID number by applying online at www.glendale.edu/apply. 
  3. Call (818) 240-1000, ext. 5918 to request a Pre-Nursing appointment with an Academic Counselor.
